Susan Eliot
Partner Champion to ALAS (Ayudando Latinos A Soñar)
Susan brings more than 25 years of experience in product management, business development, and marketing across both technology companies and mission-driven organizations. Her professional career included managerial and leadership roles at companies such as Netscape, Yahoo, and Realtor.com, as well as with nonprofits including VolunteerMatch and Benetech. She joined Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2) in 2022 to deepen her engagement with social ventures and the Bay Area nonprofit ecosystem. Since then, she has actively participated in multiple grant rounds and currently serves as Partner Champion for ALAS. Her philanthropic interests span women’s and civil rights, education, and environmental sustainability. She was a board member for the San Mateo County Parks Foundation for nine years; she currently sits on the board for the Point Lobos Foundation and she is a volunteer guide at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Susan holds an A.B. in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College and an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from Babson College.
