Give your company’s employees a powerful way to give back.
Since 1998, SV2 has built a community of givers deeply committed to a more equitable world where everyone can thrive. With our Corporate Fellows Program, that commitment extends beyond SV2 to companies seeking to strengthen their own culture of giving.
The program transforms traditional corporate volunteering into a meaningful leadership development experience, connecting employees with Bay Area nonprofits for high-impact, skills-based projects. This allows companies to make an impact in three important ways:
Nonprofits get much-needed capacity-building support from highly skilled volunteers.
Employees develop purpose-driven leadership skills while making contributions that will have a lasting impact.
Companies build authentic long-term ties to the Bay Area community.
How does it work?
- 1
Fellow selection: Your company selects employees to participate in the six-month program as SV2 Corporate Fellows.
- 2Pairing with nonprofits: SV2 chooses five nonprofits from its Grantee network and scopes projects around each one’s real needs — for example, website development, data analysis, or marketing. We then pair Fellows with nonprofits according to each Fellow’s skills, interests, and values.
- 3Project completion: Fellows receive training on the basics of working with nonprofits and work together with SV2 to complete their assigned projects. During their time with us, Fellows have the opportunity to observe SV2’s grantmaking and impact investing practices in action and have full access to our immersive learning programs.
- 4Graduation & beyond: The program closes with a celebration for all Fellows and participating nonprofits, and Fellows have the opportunity to continue giving back by joining the SV2 community.
