Are you looking to continue your connection with SV2 over the summer? In these unprecedented times we are very excited to offer our Partners the opportunity to connect with one another and SV2 Board members throughout the summer.

Partners are invited to join SV2 Board member Christy Chin for an end-of-day cocktail/mocktail on Tuesday, July 21 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm for a discussion on democracy, specifically how to ensure a safe and secure election in November.   Voter turnout is predicted to be higher than 2018 midterms.  Voting during a pandemic and protests are  new challenges, as indicated by Georgia’s Primary.  In preparation for this meeting, we encourage Partners to read the Brennan Center for Justice’s framework on preparing for high turnout and efforts to ensure all Americans can vote.

This discussion  will build on a conversation we started as a community at our Inclusive Democracy Learning Session in February 2020.  We invite Partners to watch the recording of that session, available here.  We look forward to having you join us.

More dates are being added for events in July and August, where discussions will focus on a wide variety of themes. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about those dates. All these meetings provide a special opportunity to connect relationally and engage more deeply around specific topics.
