Education Learning Year: How Large Funders Think About Investing in Education

Please join us for the fourth and final learning session in our Education Learning Year. The topic for January is “How Large Funders Think About Investing in Education.”

SV2 Partner Nancy Lue will moderate a panel with speakers Jen Holleran of Chan Zuckerberg Institute and Kenji Treanor of Sobrato Family Foundation. Nancy Lue is Executive Director of Global Silicon Valley (GSV), one of the largest venture capital firms investing in education technology, where she oversees portfolio relations and external partnerships. Kenji leads all of Sobrato Family Foundation’s grantmaking, including the strategic portfolios in the 21st Century Education and the Pathways to Success programs, as well as the General Operating Support grants. Jen serves on the Education Team at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, partnering with educators, community leaders and other key stakeholders to produce learning experiences and systems to address the needs of the whole child.
