The Environment Partner Interest Circle is focused on encouraging Partners to become more active and engaged in addressing environmental issues they each care about – whether through personal philanthropy, life choices, advocacy, or investing. The events often include speakers with expertise on issues that are of interest to a cross-section of Partners. All SV2 Partners, including prospective Partners, are welcomed at all events, so please feel free to join.
We are very fortunate that Ishan Nath, a postdoctoral scholar at the Climate Impact Lab and Energy Policy Institute (and Bill Brownell’s son in law) will be leading a discussion on October 7th on climate change at SV2’s offices. The discussion will touch on his areas of his expertise which span the impact of climate change on agriculture and the world food system as well as the social cost of carbon and adaptation strategies. The program will start promptly at noon and please BYOL (bring your own lunch).
