Health disparities in the United States are a pervasive problem that impacts both mortality rates and quality of life for many Americans. Causes of disparities include physical environment in neighborhoods, food deserts, unsafe communities, uneven healthcare provision, and more. Please join this meeting for an exploratory chat where we can share why we are drawn to this issue area and what our objectives would be for a Health Equity Interest Group.
