We invite SV2 Partners and prospective Partners with children ages 4-12 to make Birthday Boxes for children currently living in the San Jose Family Shelter. From our own homes, we’ll gather on Zoom and work together to put together and decorate the Birthday Boxes.
During this virtual event, we’ll learn about Family Supportive Housing’s programs and catch up with each other while we work. Each Birthday Box will include items to help make a child’s birthday celebration special: party decorations, handmade birthday cards, a fun party activity, and more. SV2 families can drop the Birthday Boxes off at San Jose Family Shelter or coordinate a pick-up with Anne and Lucinda. Full delivery details and options here. Please RSVP if you’re able to join us–and even if you’re not, but would like to learn more about this opportunity to serve from home. SV2 Teens are also welcome to participate. We encourage families to make at least one box, but more are welcome.
