Kelly Pope is hosting a Partner Powered event on Tuesday April 16th, 10am-12pm at the Sobrato Family Foundation’s new location in Mountain View. The event will be a learning session and update on Sobrato’s early learning program SEAL (The Sobrato Early Academic Language model). Anya Hurwitz, Executive Director of the SEAL program, has kindly offered to hold this learning session for any interested SV2 Partner.
Some of you may have followed SEAL from its inception in 2008. It has been tremendously successful and is spinning out of the Sobrato Foundation to form an independent nonprofit organization. The learning session will update us on the continuing need for intensive language and literacy programs for English Language Learners in California, it will highlight the powerful outcomes of the program, and it will outline the organization’s strategic plans going forward.
Please RSVP directly to Kelly Pope, or contact Kelly with questions.
