Community Initiative | Get to Know the Initiatives

Join us to learn more about SV2’s Community Initiative program and meet the three finalist initiatives: Mountain View Solidarity Fund, Redwood City Together, and ¡Sí Se Puede! Collective. At this event, the leaders of the initiatives will each have 30 minutes to share about their work. It’s an exciting opportunity to learn more about the community-informed, collaborative and cross-sector work happening locally.

SV2’s Community Initiative is a three-year focused grantmaking and community engagement program in which SV2 Partners and staff will engage with a local initiative aiming to support measurable social impact in its community. We hope this work will accelerate SV2 Partners’ social change and equity journeys, help us build strong relationships in service of common goals, and lead to impact both in the chosen community and in SV2 as an organization. We are committed to sharing power, broadening the voices at the table, and growing in trust-based philanthropy.

This session will be held in virtual format via Zoom. The meeting access info will be sent via Eventbrite confirmation emails. To access the meeting info, Eventbrite will require you to log in or create an account if you don’t already have one.

You will receive confirmation emails from Eventbrite 48 hours before the event, 2 hours before the event, and as the event begins. In any of these confirmation emails, click the orange “View the event” box. This will take you to a screen with an orange “Join now” button. Click on the button. This will take you to Zoom and you can follow the Zoom prompts to join the session.
