SV2 Grant Round participants will discuss the five finalist organizations using SV2’s rubric and select our two newest Grantee Partners.
In Meeting #2 on Zoom, we’ll hear directly from each of the five finalist organizations about their mission and work. SV2 and the finalist organizations will “Get to know each other”. Each Executive Director, along with any key teammates they’d like to bring, will share more about their journeys, their organization’s changemaking, impact and leadership, and open up for questions.
About the Grant Round
We’re learning what Education Equity means in our community, this includes: equitable K-12 student academic support, school safety and culture, family engagement, access to developing basic skills, re-defining success, teacher training, connecting with role models, accessible and reliable afterschool programs, and tutoring.
In SV2’s Education Equity Grant Round, we’ll listen and engage with our community, learn, and select two nonprofit or fiscally sponsored organizations to each receive $90,000 in unrestricted funding over 3-years, beyond-the-dollars support from our network, and friendship. Throughout, we’ll practice trust based philanthropy.
