This Partner-organized Interest Circle will be held in virtual format via Zoom. The Zoom information will be sent to you once you RSVP to Tony Stayner .
The Partner-led Impact Investing Interest Circle provides a space to explore impact investing more broadly and more personally as a complement to the Impact Investing Working Group’s activities. This month we’re teaming up with the Environment Partner Interest Circle (EPIC) to deliver a session that will be of interest to participants in both groups. This virtual session is a follow on to our popular Investing in Climate Solutions session in January. Most of us have public equities in our portfolio and if they aren’t yet values aligned, there is opportunity for more impact.
Etho Capital‘s founders were disappointed at the data used by existing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) funds to select and evaluate their portfolios, so they developed proprietary technology using high quality data and delving into supply chains to find the best companies supporting the environment, social justice, and equality. Etho’s flagship climate and ESG leadership exchange traded fund (the ETHO ETF) was born in 2015 with the idea that investing and ESG factors are deeply connected, as evidenced by this pandemic and the ongoing climate crisis, and Etho’s business has since expanded into customized climate and ESG indexes, separately managed account (SMAs), and climate impact optimization consulting for over $40 billion in family office assets.
Come hear from Etho Capital’s CEO, Amberjae Freeman, and CIO, Ian Monroe, about Etho’s unique approach to delivering better financial returns and optimizing impact by diving deeper into supply chains and surfacing stronger sustainability signals from the noise of CSR greenwashing.
