The SV2 Impact Investing Group (IIG) convenes monthly on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesdays to hear two social enterprise startups and/or impact venture funds pitch for impact investment. Each founder has 15 minutes to pitch, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.
IIG Partners discuss the deals and are invited to join a Diligence Team (DT) if there is interest in presenting a deal to the Investment Committee (IC) the following month. DT participants are each afforded a vote in the Investment Selection Ballot alongside IC members.
Immediately following the Monthly Pitches is the IC Meeting to discuss deals that were pitched from the previous month and make decisions on investment selection on behalf of SV2. All Partners in IIG are welcome to stay and observe the IC Meeting. Any SV2 Partner may join the IIG on a rolling basis throughout the year.
