Yajaira Chavez

Yajaira Chavez serves as SV2’s Development & Communications Associate. She supports SV2’s donor recruitment and stewardship, as well as strategic communications at the organization. Yajaira formerly interned at SV2 as an Impact Investing Analyst, supporting the sourcing and due diligence of early stage startups that delivered social, economic, or environmental impact. She also has a background in executive search and leadership advisory services for high-growth tech companies. Yajaira is passionate about philanthropy and leveraging capital as a resource for social and environmental impact in underserved communities. She holds a B.A. in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an M.A. in International Studies from the University of San Francisco.
